The rules

Set a timer for 20 minutes. Then repeat this round for as long as the clock runs:

  1. 5 pull-ups
  2. 10 push-ups
  3. 15 squats

That is 30 reps per round. Your score is the number of full rounds you finish, plus the reps of the round you were in when time ran out. The benchmark is 27 rounds: 810 reps in 20 minutes.

27 rounds is an elite number. Start where you are.

Assisted pull-ups. Push-ups on your knees. The app counts them the same. The point is the number going up, not where it starts.

How to count your reps

The hard part isn't the reps. It's the counting.

Twenty minutes. Eight hundred repetitions. Somewhere around round nine, you stop knowing whether you did four or five.

So don't. Prop your phone against a wall and let it watch.

1. Prop up your phone

Two or three metres away, tilted slightly up, with your whole body visible and good lighting. For push-ups, turn side-on to the camera. The app tells you when you're in frame.

2. Move

Pull-ups, push-ups, squats. It counts each one, moves you to the next exercise on its own, and calls it out loud. You never look at the screen.

3. Get your score

Rounds, total reps, personal record. Plus a card ready to post and a 45-second timelapse of the whole thing.

Nothing you film ever leaves your phone.

The pose detection runs entirely on your device. No frame is uploaded, stored, or sent to a server — not to us, not to anyone. Only your scores (rounds, reps, date) sync, under an anonymous account.
